Foot Massage Techniques Used for Stress and Pain

If you’ve ever found yourself with foot pain, or maybe just in need of relieving some stress, a foot massage might be beneficial for you. In this article, we are going to look at some of the techniques used during a foot massage.

The first technique that we will look at is called thumb walking. In thumb walking the masseuse will use the tip of their thumb to press down on your foot.

The key to this technique is that the thumb movements are very small. With this technique, the masseuse is able to pinpoint different areas on your feet that might be cause for pain.

The next technique that we are going to look at begins with the masseuse once again using their thumb to press down on the foot. Where this technique becomes a little bit different is when the masseuse will put their hand on the top side of your foot and pull out.
